Ilfracombe, North Devon 9–10 May 2026

Visiting

Ilfracombe Art Trail 2026 is free, unticketed and spread across 3 zones. Everything below is here so you can decide before you set off rather than when you arrive.

The accessibility key

These four marks appear on every venue card and every listing. This is what each one means, and what it means when it is missing.

Wheelchair accessible
Step-free entry at every door, level floors throughout, and room to turn in each space. Where a venue does not have this it says so plainly on its own page, and says what it does offer instead — a ground-floor room, a hand at the door, or a clear view of the work from the street. See the venues with step-free access
Toilet for visitors
There is a toilet you may use. Where a venue has none it will say so, and it is worth planning around: the harbour and the High Street both have public ones. See the venues with a toilet for visitors
Viewable from the pavement
You can see the work from the street without going inside. That matters if steps are a problem, if you have a dog with you, or if you would rather look than talk today. Where a venue does not offer this you have to come in to see anything, so check its access answer and its opening hours before you make the journey. See the venues you can view from the pavement
Food or drink offered
Something to eat or drink is on offer, and the venue page says whether there is a charge for it. Where a venue offers nothing it is not being unwelcoming — most of these are somebody’s front room. See the venues offering food or drink

Parking

At venue
There is parking at the venue itself. See the venues with parking at the venue
On-street nearby
Ordinary street parking close by. Read the signs before you leave the car — some of it is for residents only. See the venues with on-street parking nearby
Public car park
A public car park within a short walk. You will usually have to pay. See the venues near a public car park
No dedicated parking
No parking of its own. Park in the town and walk, or ring ahead and ask what people usually do. See the venues with no dedicated parking

The zones

The trail is split into zones so a day out is a walk rather than a drive. Each one links to the artists inside it.
