I am a local artist and live in North Devon.

I studied art at Bath Spa University as a mature student and I gained a Degree in Fine Art 1999. I went on to teach Art Adult Education for many years.

I taught students how to paint in oils, acrylics and watercolor’s. I taught different techniques with mixed mediums. I also ran Pottery workshops and Life Drawing classes.

I am now retired and can concentrate solely on my own art practice. I am inspired by my surroundings, the beautiful countryside and the North Devon rugged coastline. I love painting outdoors whenever I can. I always have a handy sketchbook and pen at the ready. I love waking along our beautiful coastal paths of N. Devon.

I try and paint whatever I see and feel, it’s my response to the Nature’s sights and sounds of our coastline and landscape.
