“I began my creative life as a freelance illustrator after college, learning to build images through careful lines and quiet observation. Illustration taught me discipline, but it also revealed how much I longed for a space where imagination could stretch beyond the edges of the page.”

“Ben is an avidly online game developer from Manchester. Ben’s work conceptualises a critical commentary of postmodern technology. His neo-pixel art gives a sense of nostalgia, but his skillfully curated vibrant colour palettes, densely packed textures and details always give his work a sense of lighthearted play.”

“During the course of my 30 years as a furniture maker, I have tried to express my artistic side through the manufacture of making mainly utilitarian items for others in timber but also gaining insight in the recreation/ repair of period pieces. This has allowed me to create new pieces in different styles as well as my own.”
