“Kya Beers is a Bristol-based mixed media artist from the coastal town of Ilfracombe, Devon. Working through portraiture, text and natural elements, she builds oil paintings on layered, abstract grounds – combining gestural mark-making with spray paint, drawing and collage-like surfaces.”
