Betony May graduated in Illustration and after freelancing in London she moved to Ilfracombe to be a painter and studio assistant.

Developing skills as a photo-realist oil painter over a number of years, and also enjoying creating looser, more illustrative work, you can expect to see a range in approach.

Her latest project is a reimagined approach to botanical art, bringing digital image distortion to traditional oil paintings of flowers, many of which the artist has grown before painting.
