About Sara Clark

The paintings are as much about the materiality of paint as they are about place. Through layers of texture, fluid light, and shifting tones, I seek to capture the tension between the transient qualities of sea and sky and the bold, structural abstraction of colour and form. Each piece emerges as a dialogue between control and spontaneity, presence and suggestion.
