About Helen Weedon

Her work ranges from whimsical birds adorned with floral patterns and jewel-like accents to bold house plaques and romantic hearts bursting with roses and shimmering details. Each piece is rich in texture and storytelling, inviting viewers to look closer and discover hidden surprises. Among them is Helen’s signature motif—a tiny ladybird—tucked into every mosaic as a playful symbol of new beginnings, luck and joy. Inspired by the landscapes of North Devon—the sea, the moor, and the ever-changing light—Helen combines natural themes with bold colour and intricate pattern. Her mosaics are intuitive yet carefully composed, balancing fragments of history with contemporary design. Helen’s work proves that broken can become beautiful. By giving once-loved objects a second life, she creates art that is sustainable, imaginative, and full of personality.
