About Clare Russell
Now working part-time and winding down to retirement from teaching, I have returned to making my own art, and have enjoyed exploring a range of media. My style is eclectic, and includes fine detailed drawings, organic slow stitched textile art, incorporated into soft furnishings, decorations, bags and wall art, cut paper collage, watercolour and ink paintings. Often I combine these techniques. I have exhibited and sold original art, textiles, cards and prints in local galleries. I loved taking part in Art Trail last year and am looking forward to being part of the 2026 Trail.
