Wendy Harrison is an oil painter based in North Devon, painting landscapes and still life on canvas, wood and linen.

She works with oil and acrylic, concentrating on the textures, patterns and colours found in nature using bold brushstrokes and complementary colours.

She paints en plein air and from her studio and is inspired by the coasts of North and South Devon, the changing tides and weather and the large, expressive skies.

Trained as a graphic designer, she ran her own design company before returning to traditional painting and was recently a wildcard entry in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the year. She has exhibited in the Burton, Bideford; Appledore Gallery and in Topsham, South Devon.
