Recently I have been enjoying all sorts of experimental work using oil sticks, pastels and inks often in a brighter, more flamboyant palette than usual.

I love being outdoors, so the garden and the local countryside and coastline are always inspiring. I’m always drawn to seascapes and Exmoor, and they will still feature but I’m also taking a closer focus on trees, flowers and birds. A new departure for me is some work on still life. I am loving the organic shapes of pots, bottles and musical instruments and, in short, producing a fairly random variety of images. I hope it will surprise and delight!

This year work has been shown at The Burton Gallery, the RNLI exhibition at Instow Yacht Club and various other local exhibitions.
