Natasha Quarmby is an artist based in the seaside town of Ilfracombe, Natasha’s work is vibrant and colourful and many have likened her work to South American art due to the colour and nature of the work. Living by the sea for many years has influenced her work, with nature and animals featuring frequently throughout her collections.
Natasha has a BA Honors degree in fine art and photography and has created large hand sewn embroideries for over twenty years. The medium most commonly used in her work is Holbein Gouache from Japan as well as fine line ink pens, metallics also feature in almost every painting.
You can find Natasha most days throughout the year busily painting in her studio/gallery on Fore Street in Ilfracombe. The space is a perfect way to see her work and view the final pieces once they are framed. Natasha also offers framed prints in the gallery as well as a wide selection of her work in the form of high quality greetings cards. Original works are also available and are added to regularly as Natasha is working all the time in the studio creating new works.
