Miss Pritch

Miss Pritch is the work of designer-maker Helen Pritchard, whose love of heritage textiles and modern design comes together in colourful, characterful pieces. Her heirloom baubles, crafted from vintage kimono silks and Liberty prints, began as a family tradition passed down from her mum. Alongside them sit bold bags and homewares made from rescued vintage blankets – all celebrating reuse, craftsmanship, and the beauty of imperfection.

Helen works from BANK, a restored Edwardian bank in the heart of Ilfracombe. Once a place for saving money, it’s now a space for saving craft – part studio, part workshop venue, part slow-growing hub for design-led making. Inside, she runs creative workshops, open studio events, and small gatherings that mix art, making, and conversation around the big old table – a piece of local surf history, once part of the workbench from the original Tiki factory.

BANK and Miss Pritch launched together during the Ilfracombe Art Trail 2025, opening their doors to visitors for the first time. For 2026, the space continues to evolve – showcasing new work, visiting creatives, and handmade pieces rooted in heritage, colour, and storytelling.
