Painting

I have painted en plein air for the last 20 years, however it took me quite a while to start selling my work.

I draw my inspiration from the Kent, Essex and Lincolnshire landscapes, however I always keep a sharp eye out and a sketch book when traveling in the UK and abroad.

I paint predominately in oil, however I do occasionally use acrylic paints for larger work.

I have exhibited many times with Art in June a Kent based open studios and have shown my work at the Ilfracombe Art for the fourth year.

I draw my influences from Monet and Van Gogh as well as many other contemporary enplein artist working in the UK.
