Painting

Having taken part in the Art Trail for the first time last year, I enjoyed it so much, I’m here again.

My paintings are predominantly abstract landscapes – not views as such but feelings expressed in colour and form.

The large canvasses consist of multiple layers of mixed media, taking many hours to complete and evolving in hue and texture over the course of the work.

The smaller paintings are more spontaneous, requiring much decision making as they take on a life of their own.
