Painting
Having obtained my degree in Fine Art from Hull College of Art in 1975 and spent many years working in the theatre in London, I finally returned to painting when I moved to Ilfracombe 18 years ago.
Since retiring from my second career as an administrator at Petroc , I have had the opportunity to produce more work and this will be my third year taking part in the Ilfracombe Art Trail.
Working in acrylic on paper, I have been concentrating on smaller paintings taking my inspiration from my surroundings.
The works are predominantly abstract landscapes, representing my response to the local area with specific reference to land, sea and sky.
