For this year’s Art Trail I will be show-casing a selection of drawings, paintings and cyanotypes.

I love the cyanotype process and combining this with painted features or pressed seaweed that I’ve been gathering and using as inspiration.

I work mostly from photographs I have taken over the years and the various obsessions I’ve been drawn into whilst out on local walks on our beautiful coastline.

I love feeling over-whelmed by natural environments and swept away by vast landscapes and skies one minute, then the next, engrossed in the exquisite detail of the smaller components that form just a fraction of the ingredients.

My other passion is portrait painting. I am fascinated by faces and relish the opportunity to paint from good quality photographs that capture a particular moment or expression.

I welcome any commissioned pieces and will be showing a range of my existing portraits ranging from oil paint to charcoal pieces.
