Hello I’m Helen, the maker behind My Yarn Wanderings.

I’m based in beautiful North Devon, where I spend most of my time surrounded by colourful yarn and half finished ideas.

My journey with yarn began when I lived abroad. After moving back home I studied art and design at college as a mature student, however my ‘wanderings’ have led me back to yarn and after I picked up a crochet hook I haven’t looked back.

I now create bright, colourful and totally unique one off pieces, each one made with a lot of joy and a little bit of creative wandering. No two makes are ever the same and that’s how I like it!
