I have been working with glass for over 20 years and am still discovering new techniques. My latest ‘new’ technique is the 900-year-old method of fired painting and silver staining. This enables me to create pieces that can look medieval or contemporary and is very useful when I am working on restoration projects. I like to combine techniques and use fused glass, glass frits and powders together with traditional leaded work. I am happy to make stained glass windows to commission, but also have smaller pieces that can be displayed in a garden setting or on a windowsill.
