Glass

I have been working with glass for over 20 years and am still fascinated by it and still sometimes cut my fingers. I use several different techniques and varying styles from contemporary fused glass seascapes to traditional hand-painted stained glass. I find I spend more and more of my time restoring beautiful Victorian stained glass that we have in abundance here in Ilfracombe, and I have learned much from taking apart and rebuilding the work of the skilled craftsmen from those times.

I don’t know what I will be working on when Art Trail comes around, a new piece of my own design or a 150-year-old window, but I hope you will find it interesting and enjoy seeing some of the original work that I have produced.
