I have lived here almost all my life and since starting a ‘grown up’ job I felt I needed to do something creative.

I have only been creating my own work for just over a year. I hadn’t touched a brush since my A level days, in which I really enjoyed, and suddenly felt the urge to get back into it!

I initially decided to use watercolours as it was a medium I was happy using and once completing some art I felt something was missing. It was then that I decided to also use ink to give more depth and detail.

As each piece is completed, I feel my confidence is growing and my work developing.
