Sculpture

I am a figuratively trained sculptor with over fifteen years of experience in fine art, craft, and large-scale sculptural production. My practice focuses on close observation of the human form, exploring presence, character, and a sense of place through material, process, and detail.

My background includes extensive work in art foundries and, more recently, as a figurative sculptor at Madame Tussauds, contributing to lifelike sculptural works seen by an international audience. I have also worked on major Bronze artworks associated with Damien Hirst, Grayson Perry, and Tracey Emin, experiences that strengthened my understanding of scale, collaboration, and the relationship between concept and craftsmanship.

I work across the full sculptural process, from clay modelling to refined surface finishing, with a strong emphasis on technical skill, material sensitivity, and the physical language of form. Alongside sculpture, I practise landscape painting and drawing, which inform my work through observation, rhythm, and spatial awareness.

My practice is informed by classical history and movement, seeking to balance traditional figurative values with a contemporary sensitivity to human experience.
