Photography

I studied Photography at a College of Art and Design (who remembers those?) and graduated in 1981. I then began my career as a professional photographer working with the marketing departments of travel and technology businesses.

I have discovered, in my retirement, a new passion for image making inspired by the amazing coastline and landscape of North Devon.

I look for shape, tone, texture and contrast in my photographs, sometimes to the point of abstraction. An image is created that evokes my feeling for, and connection to, the subject in that fleeting moment of releasing the shutter.
