I originally studied fine art and print making and after a year of working in a printmakers co-operative in Oxford, I decided to train to be a teacher, thinking I would have plenty of time to be creative as well – how wrong I was!!!! Now nearing the end of a fulfilling teaching career, I have returned to making my own art and have enjoyed exploring a range of media. My style is eclectic and includes fine detailed drawings, organic slow stitched textile art, cut paper collage, watercolour and ink paintings….often I combine these techniques. I have exhibited and sold original art, textiles, cards and prints in local galleries but this is my first time with Ilfracombe Art Trail.
