Many years ago, I studied fine art and printmaking, and after a year of working in a printmakers co-operative in Oxford, I decided to train to be a teacher, thinking I would have plenty of time to be creative as well – how wrong I was!!!!

Now working part time and winding down to retirement from teaching, I have returned to making my own art and have enjoyed exploring a range of media.

My style is eclectic, and includes fine detailed drawings, organic slow stitched textile art, incorporated into soft furnishings, bags and pictures, cut paper collage, watercolour and ink paintings …. often, I combine these techniques.

I have exhibited and sold original art, textiles, cards, and prints in local galleries.

I loved taking part in my first Art Trail last year, and am looking forward to being part of Art Trail 2025.
