Aluna Collective opened in this beautiful quayside gallery as we emerged out of the first lockdown – founded by four female artists, Faye Allison, Georgia Morgan, Emily Hamilton and Emily Harrison – all looking to find a space to work in together and exhibit their work. Utilising Damien Hirst’s old space to establish a unique working studio and gallery.

Heavily inspired by the local North Devon coast but also by tropical blooms and beaches – their joint collection of work is completely different – yet harmonious – perhaps charged with a similar feminine energy. They have also recently curated some beautiful ceramics, jewellery and woodwork by various Devon Artistisans. With views across the harbour, this is a beautiful spot to visit and soak up the true atmosphere of Ilfracombe.
