Alice Vandeleur-Boorer

Painting & photography

Alice Vandeleur-Boorer was born and raised in a small coastal town in Devon, UK. She has spent most of her exploratory education and creative occupation working as a land and body artist.

Alice received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bath Spa University, where she explored a transition from landscape painting to immersive landscape installation.

Following her time studying in Bath, Alice took up residence in Bristol. This is where she found inspiration from working outdoors in woodlands, sand dunes, bogs and bushes responding with live art and performance photography.

Alice has exhibited nationally and has lectured internationally in University Arts programs.

For the last 8 years Alice has mostly been raising her children and growing vegetables. Both these occupations require a high creative output, nonetheless Alice occasionally finds the time to do small projects.

In Ilfracombe Art Trail, Alice will be exhibiting her recent re-engagement with painting and photography, inspired by her vegetable garden.
