Ted Child

My name is Ted. I am 13 years old and I like making paintings inspired by the sea.

All my life I have been fascinated by the water and the things that live in it. My favourite creatures are sharks and I often include them in my paintings. My grandfather and my mum taught me how to paint.

I like making artwork inspired by the sea because people need to be aware of what is happening to our oceans and protect them. When I grow up I would like to be a marine biologist and artist.
